As 2016 comes to a close we would like to take a moment to reflect on the year and give a few thanks for those who have made 2016 another great year for us!
We would like to start by thanking our very loyal customers. 2016 has been a record breaking year, seeing many of our customers coming back and for longer too! Seeing our customers come back year after year, and choosing us for their special occasions is a real honour. Diolch (Thank You)
We’ve had another great year with awards, which started off with one of our biggest awards to date. Winning the overall Customer Service award at the South Wales Chamber. This was an honour for so many reasons but being at a national event representing not only the hospitality and tourism sector, but being proud representatives of our Pembrokeshire County and beautiful town of Tenby. Here’s a summary of how we’ve done this year:
As many of you will know, this year, we have continued with our themed nights out and branded them ‘Home of the Pembrokeshire Great Night Out’ and what great nights out our customers have had! We’ve seen our events sold out including our new Murder Mystery Panto and also introducing a themed night in the heart of the Christmas celebrations too. Watch this space for a much bigger and better schedule of events for the rest of the year. We’d like to say big thank you to all of the acts and entertainers that have joined us in 2016 including the events management company who have supplied us with a great choice of acts! Thank you!
Each year we must send thanks to the wonderful Linda Hunt of Meigan Design who never seizes to amaze us with her transformations of the hotel. Linda, we could not do it without you and we send out love and thanks for your hard work, support and continued friendship.
I must not forget the delightful Alison Belton of Outsource me Limited. Alison has continued to support the hotel and has been extremely encouraging and pro-active in helping us move the hotel to the next level with her marketing expertise. Again, another key person assisting us with the growth of the hotel. Thank you Alison and we look forward to working with you throughout 2017 and seeing what new plans unfold!
2017 is set to be another busy year with plans to continue with the refurbishment of rooms in January, where we will have 4 new premier rooms (2 double and 2 single) to add to the growing collection.
And to finish our end of year message I would like to pay particular thanks to our very loyal and committed staff. Those of you that have been coming to the hotel for a number of years will appreciate the loyalty of our staff as we have a core team which has not changed. To every single member of staff, we thank you for your continued support and effort which has got us to where we are today.
Once again we'd like to thank all staff, customers and suppliers for making 2016 a truly fantastic year and would like to wish you all a prosperous 2017.
