Wednesday 1st March 2017 12.30pm - 2pm

  • 2 Courses - £15.95 per head
  • 3 Courses - £17.95 per head

 

Starters

  • Chef's Homemade Vegetable Cawl, Welsh Cheese & Homemade Bread
  • Mushroom Rarebit on Toast - sliced mushrooms topped with beer mustard & cheese topped and glazed under the grill, served with tomato and a leaf salad
  • Caramelised Leek & Asparagus topped with a Soft Poached Egg, Crispy Bacon & Chive Butter sauce

 

Main Courses

  • Roast Leg of Lamb with Apricot & Rosemary Stuffing with a Pot Roast Gravy & Mint Sauce
  • Grilled Salmon with Laverbread, Bacon Risotto & Cockle Popcorn
  • Welsh Chicken Breast, stuffed with Leeks and Mushroom, wrapped in Bacon with Snowdon Cheddar & Spring Onion sauce
  • (V) Roasted vegetable & Bride Strudel with Tomato coulis 

All served with Seasonal Vegetables & Potatoes

2017 Events Announced

We had the best Sunday lunch we have ever had anywhere at the Giltar recently. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the wonderful staff who cope with my partner's special dietary requirements without batting an eyelid. The food is always superb and the staff manage to see to every need quietly and efficiently - often without even being asked. We are really looking forward to visiting again this Sunday for lunch to celebrate our tenth anniversary. We just don't want to go anywhere else!
