We are delighted to be open and warmly welcome all of our customers back to The Giltar Hotel, Tenby.

Please note that it is now a mandatory requirement to wear face masks in an indoor public place and all guests are requested to wear a face covering when entering the Hotel & walking around the Hotel, once seated Face Masks can be removed.

The Giltar Hotel will be continuing to operate in the same manner we have done over the past few months including the wearing of masks, table service, providing safe distances between separate guests and providing sanitising stations. Many of our guests have expressed their appreciation for the
safety measures we have in place and the little impact it has had on their overall experience at the hotel. As a result, our staff will continue to wear face coverings during service, and we will be encouraging our guests of the hotel and restaurant to do the same whilst in the public areas of the hotel (apart from when sat down).

Our Commitment to you:

  • Our team are fully trained and Covid aware.
  • We have introduced staggered check in times to minimise queuing.
  • We have implemented enhanced sanitising and cleaning regimes.
  • Provided hand sanitising points in all public areas.
  • Provided social distancing screens, floor markings and reminders.

What we are asking of you:

  • A copy of our Welcome Letter will be sent to all guests at the point of booking and receive a copy on arrival, detailing all safety measures that have been put in place.  Download a copy here
  • Face Coverings are to be worn in Public Areas around the Hotel
  • Making use of our sanitising stations located throughout the Hotel and washing your hands regularly. You will need to sanitise on entering & leaving the premises
  • Making reservations for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner prior to arrival or at check-in.
  • Observe social distancing with other guests and staff. Signage will be visible throughout the premises.
  • Parents must always supervise and remain present with children
  • We would encourage the use of contactless credit/debit cards for all transactions. This is not compulsory with cash accepted should it be necessary, it just minimises cross contamination risks
  • To respect the guidance or advice issued by management and staff as guests in our hotel
  • If you see any form of poor practice by other customers or indeed a member of our team,
    we would be grateful if you could report this to hotel management immediately

 Please understand that the above guidance is for YOUR safety as much as our staff, guests & the wider Pembrokeshire community, ensuring that everyone has a safe and pleasant experience with us at the Giltar Hotel.

Welsh Government guidelines for Restaurants:

  • We encourage guests to pre-book tables by calling 01834 842507.= however walk-ins are welcome but will be subject to availability. 
  • Contact names and telephone numbers will be required for each guest attending for track and trace purposes.

Please note the above is subject to change in line with Welsh Government guidelines. 

  • No deposits are taken at the time of booking, however full payment is taken 3 days prior to arrival.  Please note, payments for packages/offers are taken in full at the time of booking.   
  • If you should cancel or amend your booking 3 days prior to arrival there is no charge.
  • All prices are inclusive of VAT at current rate.
  • All major credit / debit cards accepted including American Express
  • Smoking within Giltar Hotel is illegal and a cleaning charge of £250 will be made to any person found to be smoking in their bedroom
  • Dogs are not permitted in the hotel.
  • We strongly recommend Holiday Insurance
  • All terms apply as quoted in writing at the time of booking
  • We would respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract
  • Prices are subject to change at any time

Please note that our car park can only accommodate 12 cars and is on a first come, first serve basis.  

There are a number of parking bays around the hotel, however please be aware that some of these have a time limit.

You will find a number of car parks within walking distance of the hotel.  Our reception team can advise on the most suitable option for your stay.

  • Bedrooms are available from 3pm on the day of arrival however guests are welcome to arrive before this time and enjoy our views from our lounges. 
  • Bedrooms are to be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure
