Wedding FAQs

Making your booking 

Once you have chosen an available date for your wedding, we ask that you pay a £250 deposit within 7 days to secure your date

We need to know the final numbers at least 2 weeks prior to the wedding day, after this your invoice for the full balance can be paid.  We also need to have your seating plans 2 weeks prior in order to prepare the seating plan (included in the price)

2 weeks before the wedding

Most bride and grooms opt for Fridays and Saturdays, however if you are considering a different day of the week we can check availability for you.

Many bride and grooms are booking as far as 3 years in advance.  As soon as you’ve chosen your wedding day/month we would advise getting in touch to check availability to avoid disappointment

Having your cermony at the hotel 

Yes, in our upper restaurant area.  There is an additional charge of £225 to hold a ceremony at the hotel.  This includes the setting up of the room (to include red carpet arrival, chairs, chair covers and coloured sashes of your choice and flower pillars).  You will be required to contact the Haverfordwest Registry Office (01437 775176) to confirm date and time availability for registrar.   If you do not live in Pembrokeshire, you will also be required to go to your local registry office in order to be interviewed there and information is then transferred to Haverfordwest.  Find your nearest registry office here.  You will need to do this prior to booking the hotel.   Full details can be found on the Pembrokeshire County Website

Your Wedding Breakfast

120 for a formal wedding breakfast

We can build a package to suit you based on what you require on the day

  • Full exclusive use of function room including the basement bar and lounge for your evening celebrations
  • Wedding Breakfast (choose from a full choice of menus from each package)
  • Drink on arrival (or after Civil Ceremony)
  • A glass of White/Red Wine during the Wedding Breakfast
  • A glass of Sparkling Wine for the toast.
  • Balloon Package (to bride's choice).
  • Floral Table Decorations
  • Finest table linen including seat covers and bows (to bride's choice) 
  • Menu Covers and place cards designed to Bride’s own ideas with a co-ordinating Table Plan
  • Use of cake stand and knife
  • Complimentary Sea View Deluxe room and breakfast for the Bride and Groom on their wedding night

Yes, you can supply your own decorations, however we already include these in the package.  Unfortunately, no discount will be provided if you use your own suppliers but we are happy to liaise with them if you require this

Yes, we offer a Wedding Carvery Buffet option.  This is charged at £27.50pp, however this charge is for food only and does not include the added extras such as drinks and decoration in the standard package.

Yes, children are more than welcome.  We provide children menu options (available on request).   We ask that they are included in the seating plans so that we can ensure high chairs are provided where required.

Yes, however corkage charges apply (£9 per bottle).  A selection of drinks are included in the packages for the arrival, during the wedding breakfast and a toast.  We are happy to discuss additional drinks packages if you require.  Alternatively, we have 2 bars in the hotel where guests can purchase a wide range of soft drinks and alcoholic drinks.

No, we do not supply wedding cakes.  However we do include a table for the cake and a knife to cut the cake.   We can recommend wedding cake suppliers if you wish.  We ask that the cake suppliers deliver the cake after 11am on the day once the room is set up and prior to the wedding breakfast to ensure it is ready in advance for when guests arrive.   Alternatively it can be delivered the day before and it can be stored at the hotel

Your Evening Function 


The room hire cost for the evening is included in the packages, however buffets are charged extra.  Buffet menus can be downloaded here

Yes, however we can supply a DJ which we use regularly at the hotel at an additional cost of £260

Yes, this is not a problem at all as long as there is space available.  We have a room to the side of the function room where many previous brides have brought in photobooths, casino tables and some have even brought in a mobile crèche to keep the children entertained

You can opt to not have an evening buffet for guests, however we wouldn’t recommend this as most guests would expect some sort of food in the evening.  We can serve a buffet as late as 9.30pm and have options starting from just £7.95 per head.  Room charge of £250 would apply if not having a buffet.


Yes, they are more than welcome to visit as it will allow them to become familiar with the hotel if they’ve not photographed here before.  We ask that they contact Malcolm in advance in order for them to have the time and attention they need for their visit.

Guests can use the function room, where the bar will be open. 


The only accommodation that is included in the packages is the Deluxe room for the Bride and Groom on the night of the wedding

We currently do not provide discounts for wedding guests staying the night before or on the wedding night itself.  However, for those who are staying for the 2 nights, we are happy to provide a discount for the 3rd night. 

As soon as you’ve chosen your date and informed your guests they can book their rooms.  If tariff isn’t available a guide price is provided at the time of booking.
